Happy New Year!!
I know it's a little late, but seeing as it's my first post of 2011, I figured, why not?  This latest entry is of the solemnization of Murni and Azizi at Hulu Langat, Selangor. Actually, these photos were taken almost 8 months earlier. Suddenly the mood came to me to go through them and tweak them a bit to be posted here. It's been a while since I've photographed any weddings. Hopefully, this entry will get me up and going again.

It's really been a while since I've posted anything here. I've been really tied up with a new job and other work.
I met Khairy at my new workplace. We became friends quickly seeing that he's also into photography. Well, he got married recently and he'd asked me to take a couple of shots of him and his wife at Taman Tasik Perdana, Kuala Lumpur. So, here's a sneak peek at the shots. Recently, I was given the opportunity by my good buddy, Pirer, to capture the solemnization of his brother, Shukor. The ceremony, which took place at Masjid Al-Ansar, Kuala Lumpur, was attended by close family and friends. Here is a glimpse of the events that transpired that day. Enjoy!

Broga Hill
|
|
A couple of weeks ago, together with a small group of friends, I paid a visit to Broga Hill, Selangor. Located near the town of Semenyih, its popularity has been increasing exponentially, attracting people from the Klang Valley and beyond. Its uniqueness lies with the scenery it provides for hikers, providing a breathtaking view of the Kajang, Bangi and even Putrajaya areas (provided that the sky permits such a view).
We began our hike up at about 06:00 h and arrived at one of the four summits around 30 minutes later to witness the sunrise. To those interested, it is advised to wear appropriate hiking shoes as some parts of the path can be steep and slippery; there is no paved walkway. Also, being rather heavily dressed completely secures you from mosquito bites and bee stings (almost). So, you've been warned..!!! . Another thing worth mentioning is to get up early and climb; if not, be prepared for a heck of a lot of people up there. So plan your time wisely.

Karnival Evolusi KL Drift 2
|
|
In conjunction with the release of Skop Production's new movie entitled "Evolusi KL Drift 2", Burning Rubbers EM (Toyo Tires) and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, with support from Feinto-D organized the Karnival Evolusi KL Drift 2 held at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur on 20th March 2010. The carnival allowed the public to get up close and personal with the stars of the movie including Syamsul Yusof, Scha Al-Yahya, Farid Kamil and Shaheizy Sam and to witness first-hand live drift performances by Nazrul Afifi, Ee Yoong Cherng and Lim Zee King who performed the choreographed drifting stunts in the movie. The movie will be released in cinemas all over Malaysia on 25th March 2010 so don't miss it! In the mean time, enjoy the pics.

Faezal & Iza (Part III)

|
Yes, there is a Part III..!! This was a small ceremony with close friends and family of Faezal and Iza where there was a cake cutting ceremony and food, lots and lots of it..!! Just to name a few there was char kuey teow (my personal favourite and it was free-flow..!! ), barbecued chicken, teh tarik and other assortments of refreshments. The ceremony ended at about 2 am and by then I was already awake and on my feet for most of the time from 8 am the day before. Despite it all, I couldn't believe that I was still very much awake. I guess the energy from the people there, especially Faezal's family, was what fueled me. Never have I felt anything like that before and it's definitely one of the things that make this job such a joy..!!
